Nowadays, there are kinds of contraception method like IUD, implant, injection, condom, tubectomy, vasectomy and contraception pill (Manuba, 2007). All contraception methods have side effect. This Side Effect causes problem to acceptor of IUD contraceptions. So that it is worried about decreasing of mothers’s interest to choose contraception that will impact to mother’s behavior about side effect of using IUD contraceptions, only because they can’t face side effect of KB. This research has a purpose to know how behavior of mother to side effect of using IUD contraceptions in working area of Bawangan health clinic Ploso sub district Jombang district.rnKind of this research is descriptive. Population are all acceptors of IUD contraceptions that exposed side effect in working area of Bawangan health clinic Ploso sub district Jombang istrict, a number of 52 persons, by using total sampling technique. Variable researched in this case is behavior. Instrument used to collect data is questionnaire then carried out data management editing, coding, scoring, tabulating.rnBased on result of research and study about behavior of mother to side effect of using IUD contraceptions in working area of Bawangan health clinic Ploso sub district Jombang district, most of them are having negative behavior. It is expected for research place especially midwife to increase KIE (Counseling, Information and Education) about side effect of using IUD contraceptions when visit of IUD, visit of puerperal etc.rnKeywords : Behavior, Mother, Side Effect, IUD contraceptions
