Sex Education (Sex Education) is guiding and caring for a person to understand the meaning, function, andrnpurpose of sex so that he can distribute well, and rightly. Low level of mother’s knowledge and lack of rndesire to motivate children about sex education also have an impact on the effect of their children’s attitude rnabout the introduction of reproduction tools is less. Based on the preliminary studied which was conducted rnin Sudimoroharjo elementary school in 2 of first class in the Sudimoroharjo village, distri ct of Wilangan rnNganjuk regency, from 15 mothers were obtained 8 mothers never gave sex education to their children and rn7 mothers had ever given sex education. The purpose of this research was to identify the mother’s attitude rnin teaching of sex education to school age children in Nganjuk .. This research design was a descriptive, the rnpopulation was taken from all mothers who children in first class of elementary school totaled 30 mothers rnusing total sampling technique with data collection used a questionnaire Processing and analyzing rntechnique used editing, coding, scoring, tabulating. Variables in this research was the attitude of mother in rnteaching sex education on school age children. The result showed that from 30 respondents were mostly rnbehave negative as 16 respondents (53,3 %) and who had positive attitude was a number of 14 respondents rn(46,6%). Based on the result can be concluded that’s most of mother’s attitude in teaching sex education on rnschool age children were negative. Therefore, it is expected that those mothers can realize and change to rnbehave positive and can apply sex education on children.rnKeywords : attitude, mother, sex education
