MOTIVASI IBU DALAM MELAKUKAN PEMBERIAN IMUNISASI BCG PADA BAYI rn(Studi Di Desa Tambakrejo Kecamatan Jombang Kabupaten Jombang)

BCG (Bacillus Calmette Guerin) immunization is very important for babies,but many mothers are not aware of it. This ini due to the lack of awareness of mothers to prevent disease and busy work in the fields making no time to bring her baby for BCG immunization. Based on preliminary studies with an interview on 10 mothers with babies,3 have strong motivation and 7 have weak motivation to immunize baby. The purpose of research is to know mother motivation in doing giving BCG immunization in babies in the village Tambakrejo, District Jombang, Regency Jombang.rnThis research design is a descriptive , Population this research is of all mothers with newborns (0-28 days) as many as 23 people, with a total sampling technique. Instruments used questionnaires. Techniques and data analysis in this study using the editing, coding, scoring and tabulating.rnThe results showed the majority of mothers who have motivation of newborns (0-28 days) of BCG immunization is a strong motivation 2 respondents (8,7%), medium motivation of 17 respondents (73.9%) and weak motivation of 4 respondents (17,4%).rnConclusion the results of the study obtained the mother motivation who has a newborn (0-28 days) majority medium motivation.rnKey Words: Motivation, mother, immunization BCG
