Puberty is a relatively short period (ie, two to four years) in which youth experience physical development, including reaching maturity framework (ie, acceleration of growth), the development of primary and secondary sexual characteristics (eg, breast and penis growth), and reach capabilities reproduction (Clark, 2008). Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted in SMP 3 JOMBANG the interview directly to the seventh grade girls on 8 April 2014 found that 4 out of 10 respondents (40%) students who know about the behavior of a good face puberty and there were 6 (60% ) students who are not informed about the behavior of a good face puberty and they are anxious and restless to Knowing. The destination to know about Behavior In Young Women Facing Puberty in Jombang Class 3 SMP (VII).rnThis is a descriptive study design, population drawn from all the students of class VII in SMP N 3 Jombang, amounting to 108 students by using simple random sampling technique with a sample of 32 respondents. Variable used is the behavior of young women in the face of puberty, using questionnaire data collection, and data processing by means of editing, coding, scoring and tabulating.rnThe results showed that most of the negative teens behave in the face of puberty as many as 17 respondents (75%), whereas only 15 were positive behavior of the respondents (25%). rnBased on the results of these studies are expected to teenagers aware and can change negative behavior and can apply the information obtained in daily life so that teens can find out about good manners in dealing with puberty.rnKeywords : behavior, adolescent, puberty
