The growth of the child is still a serious concern, especially in school-age children, rnaccording to the health department Jombang in 2013 showed that there are elementary rnschool age children who are less nutritional status, by means of a preliminary study in rnFebruary 2014 in the village of Balongbesok, sub Diwek, Jombang district on 20 mothers rnwith children aged 6-9 years old mother says that children often have difficulty in rnconsuming vegetables and hard to eat. She also said that the impact occurs normally rndecreases a child's weight and looks lemah.Tujuan in this study was to determine the rnperceptions of mothers in the provision of nutritional intake for children aged 6-9 years.rnThis study used a descriptive design. The population in this study were all mothers with rnchildren aged 6-9 years as many as 73 people, with a total sampling technique. The rnsamples in this study were all mothers with children aged 6-9 tahun as many as 73 rnpeople.Variabel in this research is the perception of the mother in providing nutritional rnintake for children aged 6-9 tahun.Instrumen used in this study is the use of data rnkuesioner.Pengolahan editing, coding , scoring and tabulating.rnThe results of this study indicate that the perception of the mother in providing nutritional rnintake for children aged 6-9 years have a positive category 41 persons (56.2%), and rnnegative 32 (43.8%).rnThe conclusion of this study is that the perception of the mother in providing nutritional rnintake for children aged 6-9 years most have positive perceptions.rnPerceptions of mothers in nutrition feeding for children aged 6-9 years nearly half of rnrespondents were negative for that it is necessary to health workers suggested that the rnsocialization is more active in women who have children aged 6-9 years.rnKeyword : Gizi, Nutrition, perception
