Pregnant women with anemia is mostly caused by the iron deficiency (Fe) as well as folic acid and vitamin B12. It is important to do checks for anemia in first visit pregnancy because of iron supplementation urge to be applied. However, many pregnant women who are anemic has not yet fully understand the benefits of iron supplementation (Fe) that impact on maternal behavior in the initial treatment of anemia. From the results of a survey conducted on April 29, 2014, which was conducted by interview in Regional Health Center of Bareng found 5 of 10 pregnant women were anemic and did not understand the action early treatment of anemia. The purpose of this research is to know the behavior of pregnant women about early treatment of anemia in pregnancy in Region health center of Bareng district. Jombang. The design of this study was the survey by type of descriptive research. The population of all pregnant women anemia in Bareng Regional Health Center Jombang amount 28 in total. The sampling technique used total sampling. Retrieval of data was using questionnaires, then the data processed using the editing, coding, scoring, and tabulating. The results showed from 28 respondents, mostly experienced negative behavior as many as 15 respondents (53.58%). And nearly half as many positive behaviors as 13 people (46.42%). From the above data it can be concluded that the mostly mothers are anemic have negative behavior in the early treatment of anemia in pregnancy. It is expected that after this study, respondents will change behavior for the better. rnKeywords: behavior, mothers, anemiarn
