Early Initiation of Breastfeeding is a program that is issued by WHO / UNICEF in 2007, instead ofrnmothers who breastfeed infants, but infants should actively find their own mother's nipple. In sixrndeveloping countries the risk of death among infants aged 9-12 months increased by 40% if the babyrnis not breastfed. Aims to determine the relationship of attitudes to the role of health workers in the rnimplementation of early initiation of breastfeeding in Regional Health Center and Cukir TembelangrnJombang.rnThis study uses Analytical design with cross sectional. The population is 30 midwives in primary rnhealth care and 28 midwives in primary health Tembelang and Cukir. The sample was 26 midwives in rnprimary health care and 25 midwives in primary health Tembelang and Cukir with proportionalrnrandom sampling technique. The independent variable is the attitude of health workers (midwives) in rnthe implementation of early breastfeeding initiation and the dependent variable is the role of health rnprofessionals (midwives) in the implementation of early breastfeeding initiation. Collecting data using rna questionnaire and analyzed by Chi-Square test.rnThe results showed the role of health workers in the implementation of early breastfeeding initiationrnare mostly active and attitude of health workers in the implementation of early breastfeedingrninitiation is largely positive.
