One of the physical problems experienced in adolescence is acne vulgaris. Adolescents who experiencernacne problems often have problems related to self-image and their self-confidence. The purpose of thisrnstudy was to determine the corelation acne vulgaris with self-image and self-confidence femalernyoungsters in MAN Rengel.rnThis study used Analytic survey. The population in this study was the tenth grader female students ofrnMAN Rengel with the total respondent was 76. The 63 respondents were taken by purposive samplingrntechnique. Data were collected through questionnaires and observation, acne vulgaris is thernindependent variable, the dependent variable is the self -image and self-confidence. The datarnprocessing in this study used editing, coding, scoring and tabulation were analyzed using testrnSpearman's rank with ρ = 0.05 significance level.rnThe results showed that the total female teenagers with moderate acne vulgaris were 35 (5 1.6%) had arnnegative self-image as much as 40 respondents (63.5%) had no sense of self-confidence as much as 35rnrespondents (51.6%).
