The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge with proper breastfeeding technique behavior in melati rumah sakit umum daerah Kabupaten Jombang.rnThe design of this study using analytic study using cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted in the Room Melati Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kabupaten Jombang, The population in this study were all nursing mothers in Space melati RSUD Kabupaten Jombang as many as 35 people, as many as 30 sample research are nursing mothers in Space Ruling RSUD Kabupaten Jombang as many as 30 people. Independent variables and the dependent variable is knowledge is correct breastfeeding technique behavior., purposive sampling method. Data collection using questionnaires. Analysis of the data using statistical test Spearman Correlation.rnThe results that mother's level of knowledge about proper breastfeeding techniques including good of 46,7%, sufficient of 40% and minus of 13,3%, Behavior of lactating mothers on proper technique in the positive of 60%, negative of sebesar 40% and there was a significant relationship between knowledge and behavior correct breastfeeding technique with a probability level of 0.044 and less than the value of α (0.05), so that H1 is accepted. rnKnowledge has a relationship with breastfeeding technique correct behavior in space melati rumah sakit umum daerah Kabupaten Jombang. Advice for breastfeeding mothers to be able to implement the breastfeeding technique is good and right, and the midwife as additional material information and basic data in carrying out health care is to do counseling on breastfeeding technique is good and right.rnrnKeyword : Knowledge, attitudes, techniques, breastfeedingrnrn
